Letter, 1787 December 1.

Letter to Henry Oothoudt and Jeremiah Van Rensselaer thanking them for the newspaper they sent, asking for the same in the future, and asking if they will send him some black notebooks if any are to be found in Albany. The second half deals with a Franklin stove he has received, asking how it should be set up, as it smokes as badly as his chimney did, and he has never seen one set up. He mentions that one of these men owned the stove previously, and that he would appreciate any account of how the stove acted while in his possession.
